Neck Pain

Neck pain is one of the most common complaints reported and treated at DSM Core Chiropractic + Pain Therapy. The neck, or cervical spine, is a highly complex region of the body composed of various musculoskeletal components including bone, muscle, tendon, joints, ligaments, nerves and discs. Common neck pain conditions include whiplash (cervical sprain/strain), thoracic outlet syndrome, arthritis, bulging disc or herniated disc (pinched nerve) and torticollis. Additionally, neck pain is often associated with other common conditions including migraines & headaches, TMJ pain, shoulder & arm pain and chest pain.

  • Pain that worsens with certain activities or movements, such as turning the head or looking up/down
  • Tingling or weakness in the arms or hands
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness in some cases.
