Our Approach

Blake Meyer, D.C. is an Iowa native with a decade of experience in academia and rehabilitation methodologies. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and his doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. During his training, Dr. Meyer worked at the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics and Sports Medicine Research Lab at University of Iowa Healthcare and the Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Department at Palmer College. He has also completed coursework at the board certification level in physical rehabilitation. Before returning to Iowa, Dr. Meyer practiced in the Denver, CO area. He currently owns and practices at DSM Core Chiropractic + Pain Therapy, and provides care for patients at MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center and MercyOne Comfort Health Center for Women. Dr. Meyer’s professional interests include integrative medicine and pain classification and treatment. He resides in the Des Moines area with his wife and three children, where he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and DIY projects.
