Dr. Blake Meyer is an Iowa native with more than a decade of experience in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and patient-centered care. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
During his training, Dr. Meyer worked with the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics and Sports Medicine Research Lab at University of Iowa Health Care and the Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Department at Palmer College. He has also completed advanced coursework in physical rehabilitation at the board certification level.
Before returning to Iowa, Dr. Meyer practiced in the Denver metropolitan area. Today, he is the owner and lead chiropractor at DSM Core Chiropractic + Pain Therapy and provides care for patients at the MercyOne Richard Deming Cancer Center.
Dr. Meyer’s clinical interests include integrative medicine, rehabilitation, and evidence-based approaches to pain diagnosis and treatment. He is committed to helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and achieve long-term health goals through personalized care.
Dr. Meyer lives in the Des Moines area with his wife and three children. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and taking on DIY projects.
