- Difficulty opening the mouth wide or fully
- Locking of the jaw joint, making it difficult to open or close the mouth
- A change in the way the upper and lower teeth fit together, such as a change in the bite or an uncomfortable bite
- Headaches or earaches, often accompanied by dizziness or vertigo
- Muscle spasms in the jaw or neck
- A feeling of tiredness or stiffness in the jaw muscles, especially after chewing or talking for long periods.
